LOSS AND DAMAGE POLICY
The Greener Cleaner takes the utmost care in cleaning your clothing. This includes the implementation of systems designed to avoid misplaced, lost or damaged items. However, in the rare instance that your garment is lost or damaged, we will repair or replace the garment to your satisfaction, or issue you a full refund or credit for the value of that garment, as specified in the National Fair Claims Guide For Consumer Textile Products.
GARMENT CARE AUTHORIZATION
The Greener Cleaner employs a thorough inspection process after receiving each garment. On occasions, some garments may be unacceptable for wet cleaning, either because of unstable dyes, or concern over dimensional stability. On those instances, we shall process your garment using traditional dry cleaning methods. If you are chemically sensitive, or wish to be informed before processing your clothes using traditional dry cleaning methods, please let us know on the Customer Information Forms that are available on the counter.
Also, we may spot a potential problem with a garment and ask for your permission before cleaning it with any process. The problem may be a concern about colorfastness, or the age or weakness of the fabric. In any case, the purpose of the authorization is to alert you to the possibility that your clothes may be adversely effected if they are cleaned. If you agree, the garment will be clearly marked by our cleaning laboratory technicians, and then processed with extreme care. If we can not get your authorization in a timely manner, then our garment care specialists may decide to return the item without cleaning it.
Policies and Conditions
The Greener Cleaner exercises utmost care processing articles entrusted to us and uses processes which are safe for these articles and the environment. Because items are not manufactured according to uniform standards and levels of quality, we cannot be held responsible for certain results.

The Greener Cleaner is not responsible for weaknesses or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing, or any insect related damage.

Certain items will only be cleaned at the customer’s risk. These include, but are not limited to: leather, chenille, rugs, pillows, draperies and upholstery items.

The Greener Cleaner is not responsible for any trimmings including: buckles, beads, buttons, belts and sequins.

In laundering we cannot guarantee against color loss and shrinkage or against damage to weakened fibers.

Differences in count must be reported at the time of pick up. Unless a list accompanied the items, our count must be accepted.

The Greener Cleaner’s liability for any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 10 times our charge for cleaning it.

Complaints must be presented within 30 days after the due date.

The Greener Cleaner is not responsible for items not claimed within 30 days.
